I worked with animator Niklas Heinzerling on this animated explainer video for Padel City.

Niklas set out some brand guidelines for character and brand design, and I went to work creating character rigs for him to animate and drawing backgrounds for each scene.
I had a lot of fun creating an exaggerated character style for the video with strong angular shapes and proportions for arms and legs.

I also wanted to be sure our cast of characters would be a diverse set, just like Germany's population as a whole.
No more sports! Take me back...
